how to monitor the patients while on nicotine replacement therapy ?
Sorry I missed your program today. What is the scientific evidence of the safety of e-cigs? They must be safer than real cigs, but have they been studied? Does heated nicotine entering the lungs cause damage?
I have a 92 year old mother who smokes a pack a day. If anything, her smoking has increased along with her dementia. While hospitalized, smoking patches were not that effective. Is there anything else we can give her? She lives in an assisted living facility which has a smoking patio but most nursing homes are smoke free. That could be a real problem.
