    If it were you, would you seek robotic surgery over traditional surgery for correction of vaginal vault prolapse? Why? Where?

    Here is the reply from Dr. Elliott:

    I would choose robotic IF THE SURGEON KNOWS WHAT HE/SHE IS DOING. If the surgeon doesn’t have a large series of patients and isn’t skilled at robotic then I’d chose traditional surgery. The robotic repair I think is superior to traditional surgery by decreasing hospital stay, post operative pain, etc. However, it has to be performed by someone who knows what they’re doing.

    Mayo Rochester, Scottsdale, and Duke have the biggest series right now.
