Integrative Medicine/Acupuncture

On Saturday April 21st, our guests were Dr. Brent Bauer, director of the Department of Internal Medicine’s Complementary and Integrative Medicine Program at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.  We discussed many areas of complementary and alternative medicine including meditation, yoga and acupuncture.  Amber Hammes, a licensed acupuncturist at Mayo was part of our conversation as well.

I very much look forward to this as I remain skeptic of alternative medicine but if an authority such as the Mayo Clinic is giving it coverage, then there must be a reason.

    Kind Regards.

    • Alternative medicine together with western medicine works wonders. If you are doing chemo and radiation and you add yoga , juicing and other alternative things it will help get you through your chemo and radiation.
